Army, accompanied by police and Special Task Force cordoned off Beighpora, Malangpora, Digripora and Kakapora villages of district Pulwama on Sunday evening.
The cordon was lifted on late Sunday night. However, the govt forces again sealed all the four villages on Monday morning and conducted door to door search operations.
Police said that the cordon was laid on a tip off about the presence of top militant commanders of LeT and Hizbul Mujahideen in these areas.
So far no arrests have been made during the door to door search operations by the govt forces.
